Liza's little ones

I was commissioned to capture the personalities of these two sisters; the gentle thinker and the playful sprite. Their hair was stitched in their favourite colours. Woven into them are their doodles. Little images of their drawings, their imagination and of course, Slothy. I hope these pieces become a capsule of a time in their ever-growing personalities.

I loved the clandestine way this gift came together with Dad Dave, like an embroidery spy, a stealthy stitcher. I am grateful to create these special pieces for such a wonderful woman, who I’ve been fortunate to have in my orbit since 2016.
