About the event
Join me in a two-day embroidery workshop at the beautiful La Motte wine estate. We will cover basic (non-intimidating) colour theory, create unique colour palettes from loved items, and explore new techniques, colour-blending and materials. This workshop is designed to break free of the pressure of perfection, to play and indulge in colour and texture.
Using texture, figurative imagery, portraiture and collage, Danielle will teach you to break free of the pressure of perfection and indulge in play. Through String Theory, you will discover your voice in this amazing threaded medium and go home with a bespoke kit to keep sewing going.
Skill level:
This is an intermediate workshop on embroidery and materials. A general understanding of basic embroidery will be helpful.
What will be provided and what you will need to bring:
