Chewie

I stumbled on one of my first pop portraits ever, a palm-sized Chewbacca. As my holiday project, I stitched this guy to compare my growth but also, because, who doesn’t want to see more hand-embroidered alien bears? He was an absolute treat to stitch. I went to town on the thread blending, one of my favourite hair/pet/beard/ Wookie techniques.

When I saw the capture of Chewie, I wanted to throw my head back and rwwwggghh with delight. The accuracy. The details. The resolution!
