Flare

I stitched this gradient in wool, cotton, bamboo and anything else, everywhere I was. Most memorably, I did a lot of it while waiting in line to vote. While standing for 3 hours, thread falling out of all pockets, and scissors held between my teeth. The hours felt easy; intertwining threads of all types into one tapestry. The fabric was sculpted and set in a wood frame with painted details.
