Such a pair

I wanted to lean into this colour palette for a while and, after finding coral linen, I took a Sunday to indulge. Pears are my go-to colour explorers. I used them in my travelling workshop to test values, and as the sample in my Skillshare colour class.

I happened upon a walnut frame from Stitch Frame the day I started this. It seems it was waiting for the right moment to fall out of the cupboard. I used the walnut from the frame as my darkest value. I’m learning to crush the values, inspired by my teacher and friend Riso Chan
