Topographic Romance

I found this pink towel and wanted to play on it with textures. I had a feeling of what I was trying to capture, but I didn't know quite where to start.

When I found A ‘mistake’ painting by @lorraineloots lying around her studio it came together. This piece has been all play; filled with felting, stump work, beading and a mishmash of techniques and materials. All the beads in this are old, found or given.

It's been so nice to allow myself space to play and I am grateful for Lorraine who encouraged me to experiment. It's very special that she permitted me to knick her work.
