WHAT A RACKET!
Hand-embroidered subnflower stitched with layers of thread to create bold and vibrant imagery on a salvaged vintage wooden racket. This sun catcher is made with wool, cotton and silk.
I don't use fabric as backing; these are stitched straight into the strings. Strings on strings, baby.
The rackets come with their character. Having a history on the courts has given them smile lines and dimples. Their age and imperfections are their charm. Some handles have been replaced.
