Hand-embroidered with layers of thread to create bold and vibrant imagery on a salvaged plastic racket.
I don't use fabric as backing - these are stitched straight into the strings (or in this case, grid). Strings on Strings baby.
The rackets come with their character. Having a history on the courts has given them smile lines and dimples. Their age and imperfections are their charm.
